so i got today a i537 active on 4.4.2 NC9.
first downgraded modem to MF1 with link from xda titled "[FIX TESTED AND WORKING!] 4.2.2,4.3 AND 4.4.2!!! WIFI, GPS, IMEI & Baseband repair"
then i went on and downgraded software to 4.3, remember you cant downgrade bootloader! I followed instructions from xda titled "Galaxy S4 Active 4.4.2 Kitkat ROOT" i went all the way to where it says to root it with saferoot. once rooted i ran supersu and updated and disabled knox.
i stopped the rest of the proceddure and used my z3x repair the imei. the whole proccess went good.. as you can see im on 4.3 with mf1

once i repaired the imei, i decided to clean out the root by freshly installing the three 4.3 tar files with odin to bring me to fully stock 4.3 with 4.4.2 bootloader which i havent touched

once i was back on 4.3, sound didnt work so i had to now upgrade to 4.4.2 to be 100% back to normal. i downloaded the latest 4.4.2 firmware OTA and renamed it update.zip and put it on my sd card and installed it using the stock recovery ( i got the file from xda with thread titled "[FIRMWARE] [i537] Stock AT&T Firmware Collection" i got the file for the firmware I537UCUCNE3 (4.4.2) Released 2014-06-06")
after installing the update.zip with was 4.4.2 which took about 5 to 10 min the phone rebooted and i had repaired the imei/unlocked and was back to 4.4.2. unrooted.
